hey guys. im thinking of getting a xbox 360 and i need help very badly. i recently read the article gamespot put up on the xbox 360 price drop and i scrolled the comments. pretty soon i didnt have enough bread crumbs to get bak home, u kno wat i meen? alot of talk about hard drives and the elite andjust the plain core and yada yada. Anyone else know this feeling? Anyway, I'm just a normal gamer that doesn't understanda lotof the more complicated aspects wen it comes to choosing. i just wanna know,what isthe best type of xbox 360w/attachments(i.e online multiplayer for gears of war and such) to get. i need help very badly . . .
Ok, well if youre play alot, download arcade games, download game downloads, and demos then youre going to want the elite since it comes with the 120 gig harddrive. If youre casual like me and dont do arcade games but download demos and videos but delete them when youre done, and download some gamedownloads then you want the premium with the 20 gig. Youll be good to go with Live with either of them. If youre just a rare gamer and only play 1 or 2 hours a week and never download anything and dont worry about saving much then just get the core which comes with NO harddrive.
Step 1 = Stay the hell away from the Core. Other than that, doesn't really matter :) To keep things simple I'd say get a Premium...it comes with everything you need for Live and it got the largest price drop of the 3.Â
The Core-Least expensive of the 3. COmes with just the console, the things seened to attach it the to t.v/power outlet, and a controller with a wire. (as in no memory device included). Cost-279.99 Previously 299.99
Premium- Middle guy. Comes with the everything above except also a 20 gig harddrive(a memory unti) and a wireless controller(replacing the wired one), and also a headset and an ethernet cable for online play . Also comes with a 2 month trial of xbox live gold to play games online with. Cost-349.99 Previously 399.99
Elite- Comes with everything above except the hardrive on this one is 180 gigs and the console is black. (i possibly missed something. don't know much about the elite). Cost-449.99 previusly 479.99
premium or elite is pretty much your only options. core just sucks up your money. the elite is probably worth it if you game alot and plan on buying alot of games and arcades and stuff. but i have the premium and that is lasting me pretty long.

No Problem :) Premium is the best choice IMO. Oh and don't forget to get some extra cash for games. This Fall/Winter is gonna HURT every 360 gamer's wallet lol sooooo many games :shock:

forgot about savin for the games lol. well Gears could keep me satisfied for awhile with the multiplayer and such. now all i gotta worry about is my system crappin out on me. its gonna b like a suspense/horror movie everytime i turn on the system. . .
