Here is what I have on the 360.

1. Red Wireless Adapter light. :-)

2. As you know under Edit Settings there is the IP Settings etc. the DNS Settings etc. and finally the Network stuff SSID,Security etc. that LAST area plus the Network Link Act thing is totally GRAY I can't access that stuff and I think that is my main issue of the Adapter not connecting. It can't even recognize the 360!

I am begging you please help me! :-) Xbox.com NOTHING Google NOTHING Gamefaq's JERKS! Please?

Linksys WRT54G v.6

I have a laptop which is connected to that router which is in another room and under my network settings it says its connected so I know it's not the router it's the adapter and 360. :-( (I've never had that gray area before and never had the not connect error for the adapter ever!) :-(

I have the same router. To get things set up using the wireless network adaptor I had to hardwire my 360 to the router first to get the settings correct. I'm not sure why, but it worked.

I just unplugged the console and un pluged the usb adapter.

Swiched the console on and waited for it to start then plugged the adapter back in and it worked :D
