I have a 2MB/s download 128kb/s upload Cable Broadband internet connection. I share it with one computer through a wired router. It's actually I wireless router, but I use a wired connection to my 360 using a 50ft cat5 ****** ethernet cable. Now my problem is that I'm lagging too often, not every game, but most of them. Also I've checked my NAT, I have no problems with that it's Open. So what is my problem? Is my internet connection too slow or something? I can understand lagging when like someone is on the computer watching a video while I'm playing Xbox Live, but I'm lagging when my computer is completely off. Please help, I'm so sick of lagging.

it could just be your provider, or connection to the host. Most games i assume you play COD WaW and Gears, really count on hosts.

WaW dosent usually give 1 person an advantage but sometimes ya mix well and sometimes you dont.

I may have missed the problem because all ya did was recite the specs off your internet items.

Is it just you when everyone else is green bars across the board or what?

or are you just tired of dieing and chalking it up to lag. if so everyone lags, id call that even.

I have the same problem and im on 10mb download and 512k upload. Im blaming it on America. As most of the players that I get connected to (with mics anyway) seem to be from America, and im in the UK. So connecting around the globe probably causes the lag. But im not sure.

Calll your isp and tell them about it , it might cost a bit , but it will probably be worth it

Thanks for the help, but I have noticed this. My connection is almost always perfect at night. I do most of my lagging during the day. What could cause this?
