I Never Played Fable...Is That Bad?!

I'm very picky with what games I spend my money on, I've always seen fable and it kinda looks average when standing next to RPGs like fallout and mass effect.......with fable 2 down to $20 and with fable3 coming, should I get into fable or am I not missing much and should just stick with mass effect and fallout for my rpg pleasures???

No, it isn't bad. Fable blows **** out of my ass. Don't worry, you aren't missing a thing.

Stick to Mass Effect 2, Fallout 3, and hey. If you like hack n slashers like Diablo give Sacred 2 a whirl. I love that game, really underrated game for the console.

thats the issue with people. it's not your typical rpg... it lion head and alot people already said it shouldn't be classified as your typical rpg it's more of a action adventurer with some rpg elements. here's the deal i say if you know how to pace your self go for it you get 15-20hrs . if your a person just like rush your self and only to get to point A(beginning) to point B (end) and don't know how do side quest then u get 8 or so hours. i got it say one and i enjoyed it. main people who complained about the game was people who rushed the storylinek2theswiss

I could only get through the first 2 hours before being bored out of my mind. And i took my time.

I don't know, different tastes I guess. I just know generally: people hate Fable. For good reason. It's just shallow.

I really enjoyed it, it's unlike anything else that's out there. The first play through of both gameswill be fantastic for you.

not for everyone, but its not bad in the least, people who hate it dont give it a chance

I didn't find Fable that bad. Most of the haters havn't played it. It's not unbelieveable GotY. And don't think of it as an RPG like Mass Effect. It's more of an Action/RPG/Open World game. It's not similar to any classic RPGs. that being said, it can be a lot of fun. it's only major flaw is that it's not very difficult, but it is a lot of fun. Theres a ton of stuff to do, and it can just be a lot of fun.

its not a game that if you don't play it, your a terrible person. However, it can be a lot of fun. I did enjoy it.
