I pre-ordered Halo 3, That Means Im guarenteed a copy right?

I pre-ordered a copy of Halo 3 at Gamestop.

(i put 5 dollars down)

That means I get a copy first day, no matter what, right?

They've done this to me before, Ive reserved a game, but when I go to pick it up, they dont have one.

Is it a guarentee I get my copy?
