I was waching the 2/2/2007 episode of the 1up show and during the GRAW 2 Interview i spotted a black 360 with a smaller greyish powerblock attached to its side. Seems quite strange, but if you want to see it just download the 1upshow podcast.

I dont know, there were lots in the old Gears of War interviews that were black and they were stated as dev kits, so that makes me think they are likely just that. And remember that is GRAW 2, GRAW 2 hasnt went gold yet so will likely still be working on dev hardware.

I dont know

I think they do. If they don't, then it probably is a case of 1UP using the devkits to play preview code.

If 1UP had a scoop like that - a genuinely new model Xbox 360 - they would be shouting it from the rooftops and the pics would be all over the net by now.

As I said, GRAW 2 isnt final code, and will likely still be running on dev kits, its a simple explanation.

I dunno, back a long time ago, I watched a vid where Jeff G. was showing some of the features of the vision camera and I remember the 360 he was using was black. It was confirmed to be a dev kit, so if GS has a dev kit 360 why couldnt 1up?

You can make your 360 orange, black, green, teal, whatever man, just get a skin for it.

hi there just to inform you you can get a black xbox 360 case with a glowing X in the middle for about £40 from http://www.divineo.co.uk/cgi-bin/div-uk/search.html just scroll down theres loads of cases good to be of help ;)

they use the dev kit to take screen shots of the game. otherwise, they have to stand in front of the tv with a camera.
