Well its not but I got your attention and in need of some help,

For the last few days I have had to update every single game I go on every sginle time i play it, is there a reason for this?

Also I'm using a netgear router and since these updates keep being disconnected from Xbox Live, I've moved my xbox up into my room now which is pretty much directly above the router and worked fine at first, also everytime I run a Connection test it says everything is fine, and I have to reset my modem for it too work. Any help would be brilliant.

Thanks

reason you have to do a update for every game is for the fall xbox live update they are getting ready to basically change everything and the update you are downloading is a code so every game will work for the new dashboard everyone has to do this so no worries your xbox and internet is fine

Perhaps you hadn't played the games in a while?

I was playing Far Cry a few days ago, and even though the game is a year old and I'd played it the day before, it still asked me to update.

I don't understand what help you are needing?

Yes, there is a reason for the multiple updates: your games need updates XD.

I dunno about that. I have always used a wired connection and never had problems. I am guessing you aren't having bad weather and have tried the infamous unplugging of the router?

I've done the unplug and replu the router and it always works after that but its getting quite annoying, also it has been raining just not not badly since this has been happening.

I had a problem somewhat like this a while ago, I called xbox live service and they didn't do sh*t. So after all else failed I formatted my harddrive and everything was fine (besides the fact I had to download everything again).

Before you get desperate and decide to format your hdd, your problem could be a corrupted cache, which is basically where all the updates are kept. To clear it go here.

EDIT: nvm, I was at a LAN party the past 2 days and never got online, so yeah I guess it's the fall updates. XD
