Excellent points TheCaveRat. I agree with everything. I would also like to make a suggestion about the magic system. Some of the magick cost for spells at a higher level (Conjuration and Destruction) is way too much. Maybe if you become a Master of those skills, the magick cost is 1/2 or something.
But back to the original topic at hand. Like I would say no to another Elder Scrolls game? Of course I'd like to see Elder Scrolls 5. Unfortunately, we problem won't see it out until the next gen system comes out. We saw Morrowind on XBox, Oblivion on XBox 360.
I want Elder Scrolls really bad, but the biggest reason for wanting it is because I can't stand the competitive gameplay of games like Halo and Call of Duty.you get alot jerks on those games, and so it ruins the game for me.I really like the exploring and freindly nature of games like Oblivion. There's no jerks in Oblivion. What do you think.THE-TRAP-CARDwell you can't have jerks in a game that doesn't have online play, unless it's the NPC's.
I completely agree that people can be major jerks on those types of games. It's gonna be like that unfortunately with any kind of online game, no matter what it is. there is always someone out there who is just determined to ruin the experience for others.
I don't particularly want a TES:V thanks.
If it's as watered down as Morrowind to Oblivion was, it will be a field with a castle in it and nothing else.
Absolutely!. I would love to see another Elder Scrolls game. I am a fps fan but the Elder Scrolls games are some of my favorite games ever. As some have stated before me, I would like to see the depth they put into Morrowind combined with some of the better aspects of Oblivion. I loved Oblivion, but it really was quite watered down from Morrowind. They obviously improved the graphics, improved combat and magic some, but left out alot of depth. Though I enjoy the competitive nature of COD4 (I dislike Halo 3 now), I am still a big fan of the Elder Scrolls games and would like to see a new one.

Pretty much agree. I want it to go back and to not be so casual.

Thats how I feel about it too. If ES5 ends up being yet another Morrowind clone then I wont even bother with it.
Yes.
But it would be nice to have a bigger map, oblivions was big but compared to morrowind it was small. Plus they should get rid of fast travel.
I want another Elder Scrolls really bad too. Oblivion was/is my favorite 360, but I still got kind of bored with it after playing for about 200 hours.
I would like to see some new classes like a class that uses potions as weapons.
Also I want to be able to have just a shield equipped.
A new race would be cool too.
Also the stealth system could use a little work, but that's not a big deal.
If they add these things and the things others have mentioned TES V would be incredible.
err i dont know about an elder scrolls 5. personally i find the setting and characters quite bland and uninteresting, an open world set in another universe mabey (somthing like the forgotten realms), they would also have to make good on their promise of being able to shape the world through your actions instead of just giving you a bunch of linear quests that you can do in any order.
well that and fix up the other problems oblivion had like leveled dungeons and loot that made leveling pointless that plus making the higher tier armours rarer instead of just flooding you with them once you reached higher levels and keeping them from you when you were lower.
Also like in morrowind give us worthwhile theiving spots like the vaults and such.
But then again im not too keen on bethesda as a game developer and although i am looking forward to a new fallout game the fact that bethesda is making it kinda puts me off it a little bit

I'm a HUGE fan since TES3: Morrowind which is imo stil the best game ever created so I want TES5 just as bad (if not more) then you. But for now we'll have to do with Fallout 3 (and perhaps TES4 mods).
Definantly jsut make the armors rarer rework the lvl scaling and get rid of fast travel for all your morrowind lovers.contaminated
They can keep fast traveling, they just need to make it more ingame like the boats and transport creatures from Morrowind. Or both so everyone is happy.

You do know you play Oblivion by yourself. I would think that is why there are no"Jerks". If oblivion was played with other people the "Jerks" would be right there. I think you maybe just don't like online gameing.
