i want my money back

I just bought an xbox one and it sucks. the invite system is broken and the 300 thousand dedicated servers are garbage. the connection on call of duty is actually better on the ps4. why did they change the friend request system? the new followers system is stupid. everything that was great about the 360 seems to be gone. anyone else feel the same way?

I have been hearing this from my friends that have the bone. I have a ps4 myself and was going to get the Sunset overdrive bone bundle, but I am not really sure at this point. I play cod, halo and 2k with my friends, and gaming with them is the only reason I would get the bone, but if that system itself is flawed, then I dunno.

Can any bone users help alleviate my concerns. Thanks

last gen I only had a ps3. This gen I got both, and I gotta say I am really enjoying the xbox one (especially the controller).

My only complaint is the store. PS store is better organized and more accessible. I have a hard time finding some games or demos on the xbox live store

Yes, the UI isn't very good in comparison to the Xbox 360. Even Achievements and Party Invites take longer once you click on them and feel like an app loading up. Things feel sort of lost on the Xbone. Finding things could be a lot easier. The UI is fast enough though.

You get used to the changes/issues, but if you have read around, you would have noticed the complaints at launch. I suppose part of the problem is uber fanboys that try to hide flaws they don't want to discuss. Their collective response would be 'DEAL WITH IT!'

That's what you got to do. It's not the end of the world, but the UI is more cumbersome than you would expect.

Oh, and Game Installs are now super slow! Surprising from the creators of the 360. They'll fix it hopefully over time.

*Yawn* everything runs much faster than on the 360 and much smoother. Maybe it's not the dedicated servers, but your connection? Please go troll somewhere else.

how am I trolling - I own both systems and everything I said is true - on last gen the 360 was the best, it wasn't even close. on this gen the ps4 is so much better - and its not my connection the ps4 runs just fine - also once I got back on xbox I asked all my friends if they were having the same problems and they said yes

that's the main reason I picked up the xbox one - just to play with the people I have been playing with for 5 plus years - but the invite system rarely works

I'm sorry to hear that you've been having a lousy time with the XBO. Since I got mine I've been pretty happy with it, but maybe I just haven't run into the same problems as you.

I would agree with DHMATT in saying that the store is much less organized than on the 360. Some things were better on the 360. But I also think a lot of things are better on the One. I'm kind of partial to the way the main menu is set up, it's simple and to-the-point, and isn't overloaded with ads.

My thinking is that Microsoft will eventually address these issues in future system updates. Let's not forget, the Xbox 360 went through about two major UI updates since its launch, so I'm sure they'll do the same with the One.

One thing I did notice is that a lot of the menu navigation was originally built around the use of the Kinect 2.0, so it would be a lot easier to say commands to get your XBO to do stuff than to try to click through stuff and find what you're looking for.

Yeah you should've gotten something else instead, the Xbox One isn't worth it right now IMO.

I'm enjoying my Xbox One I've had it since launch day and I'm more than satisfied with it.

I had a PS4, and sold it to buy an Xbone. I had both systems last gen, but now have less time for video games, so one will suffice for now. I think they are both great systems, but in the end, the Xbone has 2 Halo games coming in the next year, and I really prefer Xbox live to PSN, and also the Xbox controller is more comfortable in my hands. The PS4 just didn't impress me very much. I don't really understand what you are saying about the servers being garbage. I find the online experience a little bit better on Live than I did on the PSN. I know COD lagged terrible on PS4, but it seems fine on the Xbone.

I got my Xbox One today and it has been pain in my ***. Kinect is broken and I have to send it to repairs, It took 15-20min and many tries to get my xbox online (error... error...). My gold account was downgraded to normal account after 2 hours of use. (I contacted to help and I managed to get my gold account back on after a while.) So... not a good start. I pre-ordered this thing over a year ago (couple days ago was release date here in Finland) and this is what I get? I'm afraid what tomorrow will bring.

This has been my worst 1st console day ever. I hope everything will go smoother in the future.

UPDATE I got my money back - and I got my money back on the turtle beaches and controller charger - another change I didn't like was they started charging tax on things you bought on xbox live

Have not had a single invite or party system issue since launch day. The fact that you state that you just bought an Xbox One and then immediately state that "the 300 hundred thousand servers are garbage" throws up major red flags. If you just bough an Xbox One then you have no way of knowing how good the servers are or aren't as you don't have enough experience. I've had one since launch day and I have found everything far superior to the 360. I log onto my 360 and think to myself that this is the slowest interface I've ever experienced. Have not experienced any lag either.

well, its Xbox for crying out loud. you should have been prepared for bullshit problems.

I'm more concerned about the lack of games, I bought my Day One Edition X1 at launch and I haven't gamed on it much since then. My PS4 has been getting more attention recently but that's only because of The Last of Us and I choose to buy multiplats on my PS4. Forza Horizon should change that.

To each his/her own. I bought both at launch and wasn't at all impressed with the PS4. I still think the DS4 is a horrible controller and PSN is still second rate to XBL. I'd rather play Halo, Gears, Forza, Fable, Sunset Overdrive, Quantum Break, Crackdown 3, get all CoD DLC first, have the new Tomb Raider exclusivity and have XBL and the XBOX style controller than what PS offers!!! Again, to each his/her own!!

I have a xbone and ps4 and the xbone is much better at everything besides the graphics, although graphics adds nothing to the gamebplay at all.

@Glutenbob: I've always had all the systems. Last gen I bought 7 360's they kept failing. This gen I've only played the one, I hooked my ps4 up and havent touched it since. I just overall prefer the one to the 4. Not sure why I'm commenting on this post this guy is clearly trolling this should be in system wars.

@sukraj: Like I said for multi plats I'll buy them on my PS4. I'll wait for reviews before I jump on The Evil Within, as for the Halo collection yes! Definitely picking that up.

@SexyPorkins: You do know that virtually no games have used those servers? They're all still P2P or the dev using their own servers. If you think you're experiencing a better online experience on the Bone it's just a placebo effect.

My experience with the Bone is limited to demos and store units but I can say I do prefer my ps4 over what I have seen. Played Forza on a 55" LG OLED the other day. The OLED was spectacular. Can't say the same for Forza. Jaggies everywhere.

I also have both consoles.... I love the xboxone controller, and the console looks great in my wall unit.... waiting for halo mc collection.... might get FH2

He is full of it, I would bet almost everyone here saying they had problems don't own a X1. I have had zero problems with my X1, love the controller, games and the features. I also like the fact that the X1 will turn on and off all your devices.

I love my Xbox One.
