Like i said, i want to buy a 360 and i have found what i think is a very good deal, but was wondering how i connect it LIVE, like hook it up to my internet connection. With my ps3 i used an Ethernet cable and it took a while and was quite confusing. I was also wondering if i can just connect it by WiFi or something and if/when i do buy it.... Is there a decent guide somewhere on how i can connect everything.

My apologies if this is a bit confusing but i don't really know what i am talking about cos i don't own a 360 etc.

Any help is greatly appreciated, thanks.

EDIT: So here's my new question. I don't think i can do the wiring the way it has been done for my PS3, so can i just unplug the ethernet cable from my ps3, and plug it into the 360 and the online will work the same?

You can connect it via wi-fi but you need to buy the 360 adapter. Just plug in the enternet cable and it's all pretty straightfoward.

The wife costs about 100USD so it's not very affordable if you can do with out but works great.

the wifi is a whole lot more complicated than the regular ethernet cord. basically all you do is plug it in and youre good to go once you set up an account.

There are 2 ways to connect it to live.

1. Use the ethernet cable that came with the 360 or buy a different/longer cable.

2. Buy the Wireless Network Adapter for $100 US. I have to Wireless Adapter because my router is on a different level of my house. It works well and I get a great connection.

Yeah zeldaguy, thats the problem, my router is on a different level of the house. and for my ps3, drilled through the floors and ceilings to hook it up. but then i used wire protecter thing to cover them so the wire was safe. Meaning i cant go through the house again. Therefore, i need to know if the ps3 ethernet cable will work or see about the wireless. I live in UK so i'll have to look for a PAL version of an adapter i assume. But i cant afford £50 for an adapter and £300 for the 360 bundle....

You can use the same cable as the PS3. It's just a regular internet connection and it's the same type of cable. Good luck getting your 360.
