What type of special features does the 360 have, you know, about playing music and browsing the internet, and other customization. And is XBL worth the money, for someone like me who is awful at FPS's?

you cant browse the internet with it but you can get the best online gaming service for 50 bucks a year or 6 a month. It has a built in upscaling dvd drive so if u have an hdtv it can run standard def dvds at near hd quality. u can rip music to the hardrive to listen too as well as hooking it up to a network to stream from ur computer. u can also hook up most mp3 players and stream music off them (ipod formatted music needs a download to code it right for 360 to play). Its got a marketplace to buy games like geometry wars, texas holdem, and pacman. u can also buy game content and new multiplayer maps in the marketplace. the marketplace now has an ondemand type of thing where u can pay for tv shows, movies, and music videos and watch em on ur xbox. Overall xbox 360 has everything u could possibly want. if u dont have it already i recomend getting it soon..
have a nice day :) KILLERMONKEY OUT!
Maybe Microsoft should be recruiting Killermonkey to start an ad campaign.
The 360 is definitely an awesome system, I have had mine for 2 years and have not had the Red Ring of Death problem or any other issues with it. My internet sucks in my building but I can still get online and play most games with ease. I was terrible at first person shooters before I got my xbox but after playing against people online you get much better. Plus theres plenty of other games to play online (big NCAA fan) and there is quite a few good games coming out in the next few months. 360 also has some amazing titles that are around $30. I also got the HD DVD external drive for mine and I love it. I would definitely get the 360 Elite if you have the money. The 360 with two free games will probably be the promotion they run for a while so you don't really need to hold on and see if there is a better offer next week etc. I haven't regretted buying live since most of the games I play I get online and play when I have free time. Enjoy!

fiscope
the parts are from China, alot of 360 consoles attend to over heat and give the 3 red light of death, also ms don't really care so they make you pay $200 for the repair.
Live is decent, people complain alot and report you for just by owning them in a game.

Nope...if i was wrong then why are 1,000,000+ complain about their xbox crappin on them with the 3 red lights? Its simple, it was made poor.
Who would build a system and not put in a power fan to keep it cool?

Fiscope, ignore bi0hazard. With the extended 3 year warranty, If by chance you get the red rings, MS will fix your system for free, or replace it for free.
you can use it as a media extender to stream media from your PC to your TV. Through Xbox Live, you'll have access to the Xbox community through their friends list features, including text and voice messaging. You can even use MSN messenger. You'll also have access to demos, trailers, game add-ons/expansions... as well as their video marketplace where you can rent hi-def movies and buy TV shows.
If you're awful at FPSs, there's still alot to play. There are third person shooters like Gears of War, GRAW, Crackdown and Dead Rising, plenty of sports games, some of the best racers on next gen consoles. Upcoming, there's Mass Effect.
Good Luck

They just put up that 3 yr warranty and all the players that had their systems crapped out, they had to pay for the repair after their 90 day warranty.
I still have my 360 since june of 06 and it still works fine but it still over heats and buying a fan for it does not help much....all this is just some money scam.
The 360 was poorly made but it also has alot of good games on it, reason why I still have mine.
Thanks for all the contributions! This black friday may be when I make the jump, depending on what the price isfiscope
