Ideas and characters for a new GTA game??

I was thinking of playing as a dirty cop in a re-designed vice city and you get dragged into the middle of the biggest gang war ever, and you have to go undercover in each gang and destroy them from the inside. Maybe a big twist on the end that enables DLC as another character?

But hey thats just me, post me some ideas :)

I enjoy the undercover cop idea, but maybe not just destroying them all... perhaps add on that you get to go under in a predetermined gang, like you get a call from your precinct and he wants you to help rid the streets of crime and in order to do that you have to take out essentially the biggest gang, the "Big Bad Tuff Guys" so you go to this guy that's already undercover and get the first few missions from him... just to prove that you're willing to show what it takes to be an undercover cop and then he warns you that this is serious and needs to be taken serious, so after a few missions with him, he finally gets you initatied in after you "kill" (you really just drive him to a park and then blow up the car and he gives you his badge) a cop.

During your initation to the gang, your cop buddy on the inside gets taken to talk with the boss and you don't see him again, so basically they found out who he was and what he does. So now you're inside by yourself and the only way to make it out is to catch them, but before you catch them... you might just turn into one of them.

This could be set in place of a newly revamped Vice City or something like that.

They should have Niko go back home to Eastern Europe. Maybe his mom is in trouble or something, I dunno.

I just think the scenery would be cool. You could have a beautiful European city with grand architecture, some of it very nice andsome of it kinda run down or destroyed by past wars. And then you could have scenic countryside with a castle nestled in on the side of a large hill. There could be canals that run through the city and under small arched bridges. You could have a Roman-styleaquaduct that run through the countryside and along the city walls.Large town squares. Elaborate city parks nearimportant historical buildings.

Basically, look up pictures of Bucharest, Krakow, Budapest, Belgrade and othercities to see what I'm talking about. Gorgeous places.

There could still be rival factions there, but instead of just being gang-related, these would be politically-motivated groups, some possibly even terroristsor whatnot.

I think it'd be pretty cool, and would be a breath of fresh air from all these kinda bland American cities that the GTA games are based off of.

They could also elaborate on Niko's backstory during the Serbian War in the early to mid '90s...It was a total bloodbath...But not use Niko as the main character, just to gain a different perspective on it...Perhaps use that Darko character to see exactly what went down during the betrayal...Maybe just a very small DLC that would cost you like 5 bucks. Haha.

How about if the new story's main character was a woman and all of the missions revolved around shopping?

Naah, we need gta where we play as asian guy (we dont count chinatown wars)

I think fully destructible environments would be a good idea, it would make messing around in GTA a lot more fun. They should make more buildings that you can enter. They should also get rid of the blocked bridge thing, it happens in every game and it punishes players who prefer to free roam and have little interest in the story.

Make it about the chinese Triad and make your character know martial arts.

im really into the idea of a new GTA london lol, if youve ever seen a british gangster film you know how funny and cool it is. imagine just like in real life all londoners calling each other "Bloody W*nker" lol.

i was thinking maybe putting taunts in like saints row, but of course not as crazy as the teabag taunt though lol. Maybe a few more heist missions, and more variety. In GTA 4 i thought the missions were a bit repetitive and limited.

I'd enjoy having GTA take place somewhere in Europe , maybe Rome ?

the next GTA should do something different and make the protagonist a female.

It'd be like Foxy Brown meets Set It Off with a dash of Kill Bill. The character can be any ethnicity, but i'd like to see a columbian(like Catalina from III and SA), japanese(like Asuka from III), or italian(like Maria in III) woman.

I've really want the game to go to Mexico City. It would be quite amazing. AS for the protagonist maybe an Australian;) (but thats not going to happen)
