If I buy a full costume on XBL can I wear a different hat or glasses?

I wanted to buy the XBL MW2 costume but still wanted to wear my hat and glasses. Is it possible or is it one or the other.

You can test it for yourself, make sure your avatar is wearing the hat and glasses that you want, and then select the outfit that you want to preview, if your items are removed for anything that the outfit adds, then no, you won't be able to, I'm afraid.
