if you or your brother are not moving out of the house, like going to college, in the near future, then i would not buy another 360...If you have the money to buy an elite, i would buy a ps3 to go along with your 360 that you already have...that way you have 2 different consoles, and when he is playin the 360 you can play ps3 or vice versa...yeh it may suck if you both want to play 360 at the same time, but the benefit of having a both a ps3 and 360 definetly outways having two 360s

Yeah, I'd say go for it. My friend's brother pisses him off big time so they're getting one, you should probably do it too.

Kinda sounds like you have your mind made up, but yeah sure, get an Elite. Then you and your brother can play certain games online at the same time, provided you have two copies. That's what I've done with roommates/girlfriends in the past.

Get another for yourself only if you move I guess. Elite is quite a bit better, but the differences now are mostly subtle. If you're more media oriented than your brother, then definitely.

its funny you say that even though

A. I dont own a PS3, even though I wish i did to play some of the exclusive titles, but i still would prefer my 360 over the ps3

and

B. Look at my gamertag, clearly im not a ps3 fanboy as I have like 35K gamerscore for the 360

Honestly...the onlye real diff. is that the Elite is black, which is cool, but if your cakein, then go ahead. I'm planning to get one my self pretty much because of the black colour, looks better with the black LCD...know what i'm sayin? I say do it.
