(I do realize this is a 360, but just give me you honest opinons.)
With the dwindling number of exclusives now a days, your most likely to find PS3 games coming to the 360. I was thinking about buying a PS3, but am worrying ill just be wasting my money because most of the Games on PS3 are coming to 360 (Im calling Metal Gear 4 to also come to the 360). Is their really any need for me to buy a PS3 if I already have the 360? Will I get tthe same experience out of the PS3 that I did with the 360?
Just look at the games out now and coming out soon. Make a list of ones you want. Is thats list bigger then 3 games? 50 bucks its not. 2007 is a weak year for the PS3 IMO. Time to wait..........
Give it a year, then go for it. Both the Wii and PS3 are suffering from the same problem, which also happen with the 360 at launch. That is that there is very few games out right now worth getting at all.
I figure in a year or so, they should have a decent library of games out, sort of like the 360 does now, and then it would probably be a good time to buy.
You should really wait a little bit til more games come out. I had the 360 first then bought a PS3 about a month and a half ago. The only game sI have is Resistance and Tekkan. My 360 went dead last week and have sent it to get repaired, I MISS MY 360 like crazy. The only reason I'm not complete kicking myself about the ps3 is cause of Blueray playback. Â
hmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmmm.. definetly not , the graphics for the 360 imo are much better when u look at a side to side comparison if anything u should get a wii
I definately wouldn't do it. Unless you have some serious pocket change just lying about, its just too expensive to own two consoles. Also, like you said most games aren't exclusives anymore so you're just paying for a few choice games.Â
LOL@the study comment. To answer the poster question...do what i did. I bought a PS3 to see if i would like it or want to keep it. I decided i didn't really want to keep it at this stage of the system's life. I took it back to the store within the 7 days return policy...this was EBGames...and they exchanged it for an unopen one. I then turned around and sold it for $580. Cost me $639 to buy it. I lost $60 but then i looked at it as a price of a rental of a PS3 for a week. I sold it because there was less than 10 demo's on the Playstation store and nothing much else. Also the lack of games avaible for the system right now sucks. Not having rumble in the controller really was weird especially in the Motorstorm demo because that game deserves rumble controller. Also playing Motorstorm with the motion controller was very weird and difficult and i did not like it. Not hating on the PS3 and in the future i will most likely buy another one but for what it has to offer now at the price it is.....No.
My little brother got a PS3 last week, so I sort of did. The only game he has right now is MLB 2k7 and i'm not really into sport games. You should get a PS3, but not now. Wait a little for the good exclusives to come out.
Hey guy. I got a 360 and PS3. Ps3 is one beautiful machine and Resistance is pretty fun to play. Don't let people talk to you about which is better or whatnot. It all depends on what you want to play. I decided to get all my FPS games on 360 since the controller feels better playing it. PS3 I'm waiting for Devil May Cry 4, MEtal Gear 4, Tekken 6, FFXIII, and VS XIII and alot more. Have you seen the trailer or gameplay for Heavenly Sword. Man it reminds of of God of War maybe better. It looks great. I think this is a PS exclusive. But my advice would be wait until about Summer or Fall to get one. I'm going on a two month trip from June to August and there are alot of games I'm looking forward to. I hope I don't come back broke.
I love everything sony is doing and planning to do and no matter how much I loved my ps2 its hard to recommend a ps3....yet. With every launch games are scarce same with the 360 but a year into its life it has had some good titles and exclusives, expect the same with the ps3. A lot of the highest rated 360 games (according gamespot's ratings) are going to the ps3 so system jumping is just something to expect from now on and don't hold your breath on a mgs4 for the 360. So my advice would be to wait a year there are plenty of really promising games on teh horizon but its best to let it pan out if you're not 100% on the purchase.
I know that you know this is a 360 site but then again we really can't convince you it's really up to you buy a ps3 or spend it for more 360 games or wii I'll recommend all

technically, to spec everything up similarly (losing 40gb in the process), the 360 is more expensive you can spin info in favor of either of MS or Sony but realistically it depends on the user if the ps3 or 360 would cost them more,
well i used to think i had to have every system but I never got the ps3 my brother has it his games dont look no better then my 360 games id say no for now at least
I would say yes, but thats because PS 3 is my main console choice. PS 3 will offer JRPGs plus the clasic series like FF, DMC and MGS. Also the new coming titles like Lair and White knight.
I'm not saying that every user will try to get the same features as the PS3 has incorporated, from their 360, because just to play the games, you don't need them, and therefore it's cheaper, but it's fact that if you want everything the PS3 has for the 360 (and not all in one thing), then it is more expensive
If you've got the 360, milk that for all it's worth. Sink your extra cash into games for it. The PS3 is a good machine, but if you at least wait to see whether or not it'll tank, you'll be able to get it when it's much less expensive (and perhaps when it finally has a bigger game library).
Buy a Wii. The PS3 right now is looking like it will have one of the worst game line-ups of any system to ever come out (I know it sounds fanboyish, and I apologise).
ps3 is overpriced garbage,dont bother with it developers say its hard to make games for the system,so in time all you will get is delays while xbox brings out more powerful dev kits for the 360,sony will be bringing out inferior kits compared to 360! They also said its easy to make games for 360,that means they can do alot more with everything! so sony will always have crapper looking games! And the fact 360 has had a year to make devs for 360
oh and phil Harrison said that,they will never make dev kits that will use the ps3 full power?wtf!!!! stupid man?
Anyway you got 360 now get a Wii,i almost bought one 2 days ago,but ill wait just a little longer...

I'm in the same perdicament. I'm going to be having a job soon so I don't know whether to buy a Wii or save up for a PS3 or a PSP or what to do with my money. I'm going to be buying some more 360 games but I want to buy another system too.

Don't get a ps3. Most multiplat games on the ps3 are coming out much longer than the 360. You can already play Rainbow Six Vegas and FEAR where those games still aren't released on the ps3 yet. And there was an article on ign that stated GRAW 2 could have been delayed again on the ps3. You will get a better experience on the 360 due to rumble. I really don't like the sixaxis controller because its really light and there no rumble. Motorstorm feels empty without rumble.

A fully customized PC from dell is better then a PS3 and Wii put together, PS3 will dissapoint him, just like it did me but i brung that b*tch back the same day and got my money back, a complete waste of good money, 600 for a console thats below 360.
The PS3 wll have an edge as far as third person acton (non-shooter) games. If DMC4 lives up to the hype and never comes to the 360, that wll cement my PS3 purchase.
