I'm also concerning about the Conviction multiplayer too. I heard Chaos Theory had phenomenal 2v2 (Mercs vs Spies?) Versus multiplayer. I never played it but I heard A LOT about it, and it got me pumped. I'm not too sure whether Conviction even have multiplayer. From what I know that in E3, multiplayer was not announced. Conviction is designed by a new guy aside from the other Splinter Cell creators. Plus since its a new guy, he invented a new different gameplay in Conviction, one of them is called "Mark & Execute" which I highly doubt its gonna work in multiplayer. Conviction comes out in Feb, its 2 months away and if they haven't release any information on multiplayer, then I guess there is none...
However, I did found a Q&A from Splinter Cell official site forum:
Q. I am dying to know; when will we hear about the multiplayer details? We are currently developing a thrilling multiplayer component in Montréal. But all Multiplayer concepts and functionalities will be revealed later, with detailed information on game modes. Preparing events such as E3 requires a lot of work (preparing for an event is almost like developing a game in the game), and we need to stay focused. That's why we can't cover all game elements at once. However, we are already working to show you the multiplayer in the coming weeks.
