Now im sure most people here have seen the new 360(wiimote) so what do you guys think about this. Even if you dont think its going to come true what if it did do you think it will ruin the 360 for you. I know I hate motion controlls and if they made the 360 based on it solely I would be angry.

Obviously we can still use the old controls so 99% will stick with that. The people who buy the remote should just go get a Wii

It's just a gimmick.

Because it isn't a feature of the main controller that everyone has, any functionality that it adds, can't be required for most games.

I hate motion sensing, it's not accurate and just becomes irritating.

On certain games that is true, I think the accuracy has more to do with the developer then the technology.

I bought a 360 because I believe that motion controls are just a gimick and NOT the standard for nextgen gaming. Wouldnt surpise me if the next nintendo console does something else that they consider 'revolutionary' but will eventually die again because it got boring. The controller as we know it is the best way to controle console games and wont be replaced till the age of mindcontroled gaming. So no, I wouldnt buy it.

I think the remote will be just like the Scene It controllers, or Ace Combat flight stick, or Steering Wheel, or Guitar. Itll be designed for 1 or 2 specific games and thats it. Its not going to replace the current controller.

My opinion of this is the same as of the Wii. Its a gimic. If the joke ever becomes reality I probably won't buy it. The only reason I would, is as a gimic to get my wife more interested in video games.

All I can say is I've owned a Wii and I own a PS3 and...

I HATE motion sensing - it may be innovative but it sucks none the less.

If MS does incorporate this feature - it better be optional in every instance and unlike the PS3 when it's optional - you better have a good control scheme for people who don't want to use the motion sensing.

i dont like people saying 360 missed the boat on motion controllers. its jsut not that type of system, i think this is an awful idea. and you know what the wii and ps3 missed the boat on? achievements, the best thing to happen to games since mario
