If there was a counterstrike for the 360....

ValvE would be in for making mass profit if they produced a game as great as Counterstrike was.

o ya id buy it day one. but keep it to what CS was, no perks, no killstreaks. and the abilty to make moded game types

Every since CoD4 and each iteration growing more popular, people seem to think ADS is necessary in an FPS and anything that doesn't have ADS is outdated.

I would buy it, I clocked in so many hours on the Xbox release it was insane. It literally was like the only game I owned side from Morrowind and Kotor.

If I could, I would wait in line at midnight to buy it, I loved CS:S on PC, to bad I copied my friends to a flashdrive to play it so I could only get into bootleg servers, and then lost the game.

I agree with pretty much all the aforementioned I would get it ASAP too, BUT no silly perks or kill streaks and allow for moddable game types,

No. Just, no. Counter Strike is a skill based game, meaning it'd only really be playable with Keyboard and mouse. Valve wouldn't give controller users the crutch of auto-aim like Bungie, IW etc give to them.soldyhurr

I agree auto aiming crutches are for sissy's but thats why real gamers turn these options off when possible, or even better yet, simply don't play the games that incorporate them on 360 or PC.

wouldn't be the same. half of what makes CS great are the community mods.

I know it doesn't have the mouse and keyboard but I still think Counter Strike would be great on the 360. Add in some create your own maps, gun games and all that custom stuff and I think it would do pretty well. I don't care if it doesn't have ADS, the game is legendary and still a great freakin game.

This. The only way to play CS is with KB/M.

It's like, less than $20, and pretty much any PC can run it... I so no reason not to play it on a computer.

I really cant see CS being on consoles. Its ment for PC. You couldn't even surf....

so long as it wasn't a failed attempt like last time they tried to port CS. I would buy. I would like to see an fps on console with no auto aim, and a nice potential for improving "skill"

Don't worry, for games that actually take skill, quick scopes aren't really viable. Most people wouldn't be able to quick scope in CS because you actually have to know what you're doing. It's not as easy as tapping LT and pressing RT like in CoD.

What you described is the PC version only without 360s and original names since you can set your name to whatever you want it to be.

The Xbox Version is compatible with Xbox 360 so just get that?

Being a PC gamer for the majority of my life, I find the FPS controls on the 360 annoying. The mouse is so easy to fine tune and doesn't overreact the way the 360 controller does. All I have to do is barely nudge the 360 left stick and my guy practically does a complete 180....very annoying.
