As is the trend in Hollywood today, I'd like to see relaunches of both METAL GEAR SOLID and TETRIS. Both were excellent movies back when they were originally released but I believe Hollywood could significantly improve both franchises :P
I would like to say Gears of War, but I don't think people would get the whole idea that its on Sera (sp?)... I didn't know that the game didn't take place on earth until after I beat the first game.... lol... still, I would like to see it a movie if it was being made by a good director, and there was a good story in it... more interactions and explanations than the game truly has...
I'm gonna go with Mass Effect... near the end it gets (IMO) so awesome with the Reapers and all that...
I second Half Life 2. I would say Zelda because the characters are so memorable and the bosses are so cool, but it'd be too easy to screw it up and result in a totally cheezy movie. Also Link doesn't talk (but neither does Gordon Freeman lol) I would say Silent Hill but it's been done and was an epic fail

Maybe a computer animated movie but not so sure a live action, they usually mess up those kind of movies, silent hill was one of the very few great movies generated from a game, besides resident evil
Gears of War movie would be great, and I heard the director of Live Free and Die Hard is directing that. I also heard of a Bioshock, Mass Effect, and Halo movie, which I believed was canceled. The only game I still want being made to a movie I guess is Warcraft, Starcraft, FEAR, or Half Life.
Metal Gear Solid 4 would be a good choice. All you have to do is take out the gameplay and leave the cinematics alone. There is your movie. MGS4 is really a movie with some gameplay involved ;) However, I really don't want any games to be made into movies. Hollywood always does a good job at f***ing most of them up. Why is it that videogames to movies usually turn out bad. There is no rush to release the movie is there? I can understand why movie based videogames are horrible. There is a rush to get the game out before the movie.
Well, consider most video game based movies aren't worth a pieve of used toilet paper I'd kind of like to say none at the moment. But if a movie could be done right I'd have to pick something with an actual storyline that deals with serious issues, like a drama movie. The few games I can think of that fit this are Mass Effect, GTA4, and MGS4.
