Just keep openiong and closing the disk tray until it works. I've had it happen with older 360 games, and they used to tell me that in order to play iot I needed a Japanese console lol
Does the game have a lot of scratches, or is it brand new? Just keep trying what the person mentioned above... Also, if you're expecting to play Splinter Cell DA co-op on the same system like you could the last one, you can't. Only the original Xbox version has co-op offline. :(razoredge13

Sounds like you need a new copy of the game then.

exactly, don't waste time on a faulty disk, just get a new oneThat happened the first time I popped in my Halo 3 disc, I had never seen that message before and it was rather scary :P Worked the second time though.MyopicCanadian
haha same thing happened to me
I just got a 360 and I also just got Splinter cell Double agent off of Ebay. I just put the game in and it says " To play this disk, put it in an Xbox 360 console ". What do I do!!!??!?. Can it be fixed, has this ever happened to you? My cousins coming to play it with me ( We've gone through every splinter cell together since the original, were both big stealth fans ). If you can help us, that would be amazing. Jhonie_Fklits25
Are u sure its the NTSC version not PAL
whoever you bought that from over e-bay....well... he got you never ever ever ever everrrr buy anything from that place especially gamesBigRobbyP
i actually buy most of my games there (including splinter cell actually).. every game i've bough was in perfect condition (as was stated) and saved me quite a bit of money.
you never did answer though jhonie, was it scratched? or is it in good condition? also.. is it the correct format for your region? (PAL or NTSC (or is it ntcs.. dunno?) that could be the problem.
