Trade them in at blockbuster, they won't rip you off like gamestop or playNtrade. I just traded it NG2 and Lost Odyssey for a total credit of 67 dollars. That's right 2 games for 67 bucks and walked away with a brand new copy of Alone in the dark. Not to mention I will probably trade Aitd next month and condemned 2 which they want to give me 32 bucks for. Anyways if you're a trade in kinda guy/gal and kinda broke at this time of the month. Yes you do, or get someone to put you on their account and then you fill out a short trade in form (the first time only).

Well the thing is I already beat NG2 and Lost Odyssey which I believe were both superb games but when i'm done with a single player game then I am done. I was actually gonna trade in those 2 games for battlefield and make a gamefly account to rent aitd but i'm scared that gamefly will send me other games on my list instead of aitd and I really want to get this game out of the way first. It just looks like an entertaining game and original with the controls and all. Once I beat it though I will trade it in ofcourse along with condomend 2 so I can walk away next month with a brand new copy of battlefield which I don't want to play till next month anyway since I don't have a gold account right now.

I can understand with GTA4, COD4, Mass Effect etc. Even with those games....I wont even pick them up again after I had it for a while. IDK....Im a game'a'holic.....Im always going to the next game. NO time to collect. lol.

Yeah I understand sports tittles but games like GTA, CoD4, and Mass Effect are classics and one day you misght wanna play threw them again, or just want to play them period... I love collecting it gives me more of a veriety to chose from so I dont get burnt out..

Is alone in the dark any good?

It was store credit which I still have like a whopping 2 dollars left.lol To the 3rd poster above yes alone in the dark is a fun game to play so far, only finished the first level which I thought was full of suspense and crazy action. The gameplay feels weird with the controls but i'm used to it already. I just don't want the game to freeze on me like it did on the first level, man I haven't had a freeze up since november.

You got a good deal I guess. I just don't trade in my games because it's a major ripoff. My friend just traded in COD4 towards GRID. Bad move imo. But hey it's his call.

yea i know i wish i had a blockbuster card because i would definitely do this. I went to gamestop one time with GTA-San Andreas and they said they couldn't buy it back because it had some rare content on it that was removed from the game. Well i went to blockbuster and they were going to give me $18 for the game but i didn't have a card and it's a shame you need a credit card to sign up these days, not even a debit card works. So i instead had to keep the game and always just sell to gamestop.

I wish it was easier for a membership because at blockbuster you can get snacks, drinks, AND GAMES with the money, even movies, so thats nice.

Thats why you don't buy a sports game every year. But if you want to waste less money then go rent them at gamefly or your local rental place. To the TC... i bet you could have rented both of those games and spent less than 60 bucks. If you know your going to sell the game when you get done then just rent it a few times (depending on how long it is). I rarely trade in games because it is just losing less money, but then again i don't buy or even rent every new game each week because that is an even bigger waste of money.

I should go get some snacks with the 2 dollars credit I still have left.lol Btw I wanted to say since there are so many crazy games that will continue to come out this year, I just could not see myself ever having the time to go back to the single player games that i've already played and beat. Even if they are AAA titles, once I beat them it's kinda over. Moving on to the next game that I have not yet played. Having a collection is cool and i'm not against collecting games trust me, it's not like aitd is the only game I have. I don't think i'll ever trade in Cod4 cause of the multiplayer.Dabbagins

If you think a game is truly AAA (even singeplayer) you probably wouldn't sell it. I've beaten Mass Effect 3 times and plan on going for a 4th soon (i just want to play some of the other games first). I understand you may be more of a multiplayer kind of person, but still. I am usually more inclined to sell multiplayer games because since i have CoD4 there is no need for CoD2. I mean i have Gears, Shadowrun, Halo 3, CoD4, and the Orange Box to satisfy my online needs so i sold CoD2 and PDZ. Online games can replace eachother (like Halo 2 and then Halo 3), but singleplayer games have a bit of trouble doing that unless they are sequals (but then you may want the first one for the story is has).

I'm just not a big fan of trading in games, but i always don't like buying games all the time.

ive heard about this but my blockbuster in winchester doesnt support this program. i havent tried the one in wva or md yet. but if you have an edge card i say trade in bulk and wait for those "Trade 2 _______ games in get an extra ten" " or another bonus of that sort. it works really well at my store.1noteshort
