Idont think you can help that but tryy just resetting your routre of modem see how that works out or it could be your network provider.

Do you have a lot of metal objects near your router/360? One of my friends had that problem, and that fixed it for him.

I haven't actually seen if the problem was fixed, but from what he told me of his problem, the Netgear people told him that metal objects could cause interference with Live.

Happens to me when someone hangs up the phone if they have been on it. I disconnect for a few seconds. Talk about annoying.

What I would do is first run an connection test after the test is done it show A screen that says advanced sttings go into that.Once you do that if I remember there is an option to reset the system to default. After you rest go back and run an connection test this should reconfigure your mac and IP address in your 360.that might fix the problem I had A problem like you and MS told me that it was do to slow communications between live servers and my IP servers.I was told that there wasn't much that they could do ,but thankfuly it fixed its self.So I would try the above it might fix your problem heres hoping it works for you man.Let me know on here.

Sounds like you need to use some telephone filters on your sockets. My router came with a few, and it splits the socket so that the phone can be used without interfering with the broadband connection. We have filters on every socket, but I think that was only really necessary because the router isn't attached directly to the primary phone socket in the house.

maybe unrelated, but i called today for something else and the rep told me that they have been working on xbox live for a couple days now. wouldnt tell me the problem but said i was one of the lucky ones if i wasnt experiencing any problems. he also couldnt tell me when it was supposed to be fixed. he asked if i had downloaded the new maps for COD so it may be related to that.

On the Xbox I would go where it says "test connection" (forgot where yo ucan find that on your guide).

It will go through tests and then it should pick out where the problem is if it fails during the test.

(make sure you have automatic on so you do not have to plug in your infromation)

If you pass the test, I would try a friend's router and see if it still acts the same.

If it does then most likely it's the something within the xbox.

If it works fine on your friend's router then it is your internet.

If oyur internet on your computer is solid and acts "normal" then i do not know.

I am assuming you have a wired conenction between your router and 360.

Try a different wire.

If nothing works call xbox, your router's company, or your internet provider.
