Will the freezer trick work, or just set up your xbox for longer lasting problems?

More problems, lets be honest. Do you think any of the methods are good for your Xbox? Whether it be sticking it under a radiator, putting a warm towel over it. No, all of them are stupid, trust me. Just call MS and they will arrange a pickup or delivery for your system to get repaired, its a lot better using this method and losing your xbox for a week, rather than have it possibly work for a short amount of time and then short circuit altogether so there is nothing MS can do. :)

The methods dont always work, i have tried fixing about 6 or 7 360's using the heat sink method and it only worked on a couple of them, and the ones i did fix died anywhere from 2 weeks to one year after that. I recommend just sending it to microsoft for 100 bucks, or buying a new one, and then just take care of it.

The freezer trick may work for a short-term fix but it will only serve to kill your Xbox quicker. The constant hot/cold fluctuation will wear out and stretch certain components quicker, and then it's a matter of when not if your Xbox will break.

Get a new Xbox. Rather get a new Xbox than have my personal information taken from PSN.
