That's pretty high praise. Does it mean that it will be the single best game that YOU have ever played? Maybe; maybe not, but it sounds like a great game nonetheless.

i hate it when people say that. so ALL the reviewers are making it up? just be happy you don't know what the bugs and problems are. but they're there...

It has nothing to do with the glitches mate... This game has easily one of the best story's in a game ever. Included with revolutionary dialogue and path control. And an immense atmosphere, incredible soundtrack and extensive character customisation. And dont think im just another fan boy jumping on a band wagon. I nearly did not buy this game because to tell you the truth the trailers never really done it for me (never been an rpg person) But im glad i got it now.

If you wrote this and have never played the game i dont think you know what you are talking about. and if you have played it... each to there own i guess.

Ok, based on your final statements, it sounds like you want this to be inferior to Bioshock, the game that you obviously WANT to win GotY. :roll:

I look forward to actually PLAYING ME and I don't care what wins GotY. The more great games, the better things are. Period.

How about the fact that Gears of War's textures take awhile to load... that is an ugly technical problem.

Whether you like it or not, glitches happen, get over it. Nothing is perfect mate. If something is deadset crap and unplayable etc then i would understand. Minor glitches should not affect a game this good.

Its just like having a girlfriend - shes the HOTTEST thing in the world, good personality, nice body, etc you name it - but you notice one little thing about her whatever it is whether it be a small mole, birthmark or anything else - now because of that you decide you dont want her or dump her? Now come on now you be silly to do that.

The fact is we dont have all eternity looking for the perfect girl/game, if we do by all means be fussy lil humans we all are - in the meantime just enjoy it while it lasts :)

Shut your newbie mouth, whelp. Just because a game doesn't perform well (frame rates) doesn't mean it's any less of a game. IGN is just being honest in their review. EVERY game has bugs and/or glitches, and almost every PC game out there has a certain point where you experience an FPS drop. Idiots would disagree.

Oblivion is a great PC title even though it doesn't perform as well on the PC (horrible optimization), but it doesn't make it any less of a game than the Xbox 360 version. In fact, it might be better, considering you can mod your game on the PC.

luckily i've only had one clipping issue during a counter, which is pretty common in games. (i know it's ment to be riddled with bugs but I guess ive been lucky)

yes take it from somoeone who has the game. There are glitches and Frame rate issues but nothing big enough to be annoying.

lol bioshock all the way...yes a game with a horribly lame story, run of the mill FPS gameplay, weak moral choices, and no replayability is SOOO much better than mass effect (/end sarcasm)

Face it newbie, ME's glitches are the only thing keeping it from annihilating bioshock and any other game this year, and those bugs will be fixed in a week or two
