Another 8 hour long game that once I finish I will not want to play again for a long time if ever, such an experience no matter how good isn't worth $60.00 for me. I need some good weekend rentals & Prince Of Persia seems to match perfectly to fill in a slot there.
It seems like they departed the old Prince of Persia style. The thing that turns me off most from the game is the difficulty. You can't even die. I'll probably pick it up though. The art style is just too good.sammyjenkis898this is somewhat misleading. You can "die" in the videogame sense of the word. If you fall, you restart the platforming sequence from where it begins. If you go down in combat, the enemy gets his health back and you start again. The way it was explained to me is that the developers were trying to do away with game over screens. So instead of dieing, watching some text come up, then having to exit to the title screen to reload, PoP throws you right back into the action immediately. So "deaths", yes; gameover screen, no. Personally, i like the philosophy behind it, but I am a little worried about the checkpoints being a little too friendly. I'm also pretty sure there is an achievement/trophy for minimizing the number of times Elika needs to save you.

I kind of feel the same way. I've recently bought Dead Space and Fable 2, and while good games, I just feel like I probably won't play them again. This game looks great, but an eight hour experience is just a bit too short for me to shell out $60 for. I'll wait for a price drop or might pick it up as a rental.
Guys read the US review, he said that if u want to get most or all of the seeds that are spread out through the world, that it will be substantially longer, 6 hours is probably just a speed run through the gamehackR2I've read a few reviews and all of them say it's a fairly short game.
