Understandable. I'm curious what kinds of ways there are to cheat the system in a sense to unlock things earlier. I usually just play through the game correctly but I could definitely see myself going back on a subsequent play through to figure out how to get through the game quicker.CNUrGames

it's probably just like a metroid game...it'd be sequence breakin...you can get major items pretty quickly in any metroid game

IGN said in another article that you can get the foam gun in the first 15 minutes of the game, which otherwise wouldn't come until about half way through the game

you get the foam gun early, then that of course allows you to access even MORE areas alot earlier as well

it's great for speed and/or low % runs

yea, that's what i'll do first too...probably play it through 2 times normally, then start some low % runs

and you should definitely try to play some if you can...this game is HEAVILY based around metroid games, so there worth a look

Everywhere I go, this game is all the talk on the forums. Watched some game-play videos earlier and it does look like alot of fun, I may have to get it!

Thanks. Looks like its pretty unanimous so far. Would like to hear what Gamespot and Gametrailers say.

Surprisingly enough, I dont think I've ever owned or played through any Metroid game, so I'm not quite sure the hype of all this Metroid-like talk really means much to me, but apparently, as Martha Stewart would say - its a good thing.

We'll see. This might have to be something I pick up, even though I'm trying to be a little budget-conscious at the moment, trying to make sure dishing out $120 for Forza 3 and Modern Warfare 2 wont be at the expense of groceries or the electric bill or something, ya know? Looks good so far, though.

I don't quite understand how it got a 9.4 after watching the review video on IGN. The reviewer makes mention of models clipping through textures, AI issues, and the game sometimes not knowning where you are aiming at on the 3D plane. Sounds to me like this game might have needed a bit more testing before the initial release but I guess they had to rush to get the game out during the Summer of Arcade.

The problems are obviously not bad enough to where it'd seriously detract from the score. They just felt it was necessary to note them, because thats their job.

I dont get whats so hard to understand.....

The hype around this game is amazing, especially for an XBLA title. I swear most people I talk to are ready to buy the game ... perhaps some records will be shattered on Wednesday.

Between this game and the Lost Planet 2 Demo ... I'm going to be quite busy. :)

A great way to finish off the Summer of Arcade.

I am definitely looking forward to this "epic" game (pun intended). From its metroid throw backs to its Orson Scott Card story arc its not hard to get excited, not to mention the use of the unreal engine. As opposed to some the other titles that have been recently released, (e.g. Turtles in Time, Trials Hd) I think this game has the depth that other live arcade games seem to be lacking. At 1200 ms points i think this game is going to be a steal and ill be playing it as soon as its available for download.

Well i was going to get it but i just spent all my points on the new Dark Corner pack for gears2 and the new fallout 3 dlc. I guessi should have wanted till tomorrow and gotten this XBLA game cause it looks really good.

wont get it anytime soon but ill definitely look into this game.
