I am from australia and i have seen Mortal Kombat 9 for xbox 360 on Ebay being sold by a user from london. This game was banned in my country but it says in the description it sends to Australia. What would happen if i were to buy this and own the game and play it in Australia.

check the region protection first. If it is the same region, it is very hard to stop you from getting the game. It would be the same as calling your relative to send you the copy over sea. Except, this relative doesn't do this for free.magicalclick
more like that ^ :)

Several of my friends (as well an numerous other people) have imported it no problem. I'd like to think customs has better things to worry about.

Wow dude that sucks, you could probably just have them send you the game and everything will be fine. Except, some Xbox 360's have a regional thingamajig on them and it may not allow you to play a game out of your region.

region code is PAL so unless said by the seller what code it is in Ad. email them to check. AU officials is really stupid. the whole reason games get banned in AU is because of kids. If they fix their rating system and ban stores from selling games to kids. problem solved. People is happy and more money stays inside of it's own nation. BUT w/e This is 2012 If we want OUR hands on something we will get it thanks to the internet making it super easy.

That's not a problem for us. We just order from the UK which basically uses the same region for video games.

i wouldn't even support gaming in AU. I would buy every single game and system form somewhere else.

Gaming in Australia has certainly had to struggle over the years. But it seems we're finally doing something about our archaic rating system. And there's hope that game prices will eventually start drop in the next few years. It just needs a bit more time (I hope...).
