Well, there are girl gamers in MW2, it's just they probably not talking due to people who tend to insult them in the game
I don't know why, but this sounds a little pathetic (ie, an attempt by some teenage, lonely boy to get girl gamertags) if not, please excuse me, I just woke up :P

You will find some they just tend to stay silent because of the harassment from guys. You really find out how someone is really like when they talk anonymously.

I don't play MW2, but this statement pretty much hits the target.
I'm a girl and I'm alwasy on MW2. I'm not exactly great on it but I would say I'm about average when I get into it most days. Normally I end up getting in the lobby where it's a bunch of 12 year olds just being gimps and making stupid noises down their mics. Either that or I get them adding me and saying that they like me (WHY YOU'VE NEVER SEEN A PICTURE OF ME IN YOUR LIFE?!) But yeah... I actually encourage girl gamers to go out there and try something and beat the boys.

Agreed. Girls can't even talk on MW2 (or most games for that matter) without getting messed with, hit on, or both. Sad stuff.

Main reason for this is because alot of the frequent MW2 players are snotty teenagers.... i mean it's expected to find the majority of them in mw2 playerbase. It's not by chance with all the brainless gameplay. Anyway this aint a flame on mw2 so, yah - i think best thing is to do as you are and go check on forums. If you had mw2 on steam (PC) though you could have just joined a Steam user group. There's a group on there with only girls in it (quite alot of members) and a few of them play mw2.

Sounds weird but I've only met one player on Live who admitted being female and was any good. As most of the people here have said they do get ripped on - especially on games like CoD or Halo. Most of the little kids on Halo 3 always sounded like girls to me anyway!
I'm a girl gamer also. I enjoy Left 4 Deads, Halos any 3 ODST REACH, Kinda just getting into Call of Duty, but I play a bit of everything....add me thelostsoulx
