alright so im thinking of getting an arcarde(core) just cause it fits my budget more than the pro

here it is I plan on getting the core then later on putting a hd,which can be done right????

next prob im sharing it with somebody so it would be cool to have 2 seperate accounts.

Ive talked to some people but they werent really sure and were infact suprised when i said i had different names for different games cause i play alot of ps2online.So What are my options?can it be done by having two different mem cards ?and can i use the same credit card to do that?

and just too speak on the different names for online gaming if it is true that u cant have diff names on xbl is anyone else annoyed by that like i would be personally i like creating names(whether they coincide with the game or not its fun to think up)

oh and halo or the new call of duty?

Cheaper to buy the Premium now than waste money later.

you can create multiple account names on your 360, and purchase live memberships for each one. But each one must have it's own membership, you can't share.

You can change your name, but it's annoying for your friends and costs $10.

You can set up different accounts on your xbox so you don't share acheievements and personal settings. however, if you want to play online with different names, you need an xboxlive account for each name you want, which costs $50 dollars for a year of service. They don't let you change names whenever you want so you can't be a jackass.

You can add a HD, but it is currently expensive. I think its $80 for a 20gig and $180 for a 120 gig.

I'm pretty sure you can get two accounts on one credit card on one system. Remember, that's a $100 though.

I'd say Halo if you're getting it before CoD.

Get a hard drive so go pro. Also your freinds can make a gamertag but each gamer tag has to have it's own xboxlive gold membership to play online. However the membership is not required if you play localy. Me and my cousin have 6 account names/gamertags on our 360 elite, but we only have the live memberships with the 2 we use to play online. The others are simply for other family anf freinds so they can all play us localy and you do get achievements without a live membership you just can't log on xboxlive. Also if you do insist on playing multiplayer online and have a few at your home they can play online with you as guests on your account. Lets say your gamertag is IwannaOwnYou your gusts will play online with these tags. IwannaOwnYou(1), IwannaOwnYou(2), IwannaOwnYou(3). As far as I know you can only have 3 other guests play online with you so the (3) after your name is your 3rd and final online gust player. They won't get achievements but atleast they'll be able to play with you online if you can't afford 2 Live memberships. Hope this has helped =)

It depends on the game if it supports local play. Take Halo 3 for example. Up to three guests can play online on ONE console. If you want to play campaign, halo allows only TWO per console to play or you can join up with up to 2 more online people (total of 4) to play together. Make sure you check the back of the game box to see how many offline/online players are allowed.

Looks like dlind70 answered you. Yes always check the back of the game you purchase to see how many local and online players are allowed. But rest assured most games are now attemting to do coop lets just hope the include local coop and not just online coop.
