I find playing games online so much fun that for the past while I've been ignoring the single player campaigns and just going straight online. I'm not that much into this game as it is, I could unlock new weapons for online play if I play through the campaign but it didn't look appealing to me lol.

Does anybody else have this problem?

Well if you are talking about Bad company then I don't blame you. That game has one of the worst Singleplayer experiences I have played in a shooter in a good while. It had the worst gameplay ever.So online is the big point of the game.I am the same way sometimes. When I first got COD4 I hopped online first and then beat the singleplayer.Sometimes I just can't help it.I believe it also depends on how excited I am about the singleplayer in the game aswell.

I usually play the single-player campaign first, and after it prepared me for online, i usually don't play single player again. But its fun to learn the game, but its not an real challenge after you got really good in the game by playing online.

I don't have that kind of problem. Whenever I start playing a new game I always play single player first, after beating the game, I play multiplayer with my friends.

I am not like that, at all. I love playing the single player campaigns, so I always play them first. Sometimes I might try out the multiplayer of a game before I have finished the story, but usually I get the campaign completed before I start playing online.

I try to do both as well. A bit of online gaming and a bit of single player never hurts.

The only time I experience this "problem" is when I don't have a lot of time on my hands at the time of buying the game, so I just play the multiplayer/other parts of the game until I have time to really sit myself down and properly enjoy the singleplayer experience. The most recent game I've had to do this with is Gears 2. I ended up not starting the campaign until I could do co-op with a friend who got the game about 2.5 weeks after I did though, lol.

I don't blame you if you think like that about Bad Company. That game's single player campaign is possibly one of the worst I've ever played, but it's online mode however is simply amazing. But the first thing I do when I play a game is play the single player mode first, then I go to the online mode.

I always play the campaign first but most likely not beating it just play the first couple levels and then jump online.

I really enjoyed the single player campaign. The fact that you couldn't really die made it pretty easy though, and sometimes it was more a case of taking it very slowly than having a blast, but I enjoyed it. As for the multiplayer in Bad Company, I never got into it, but that might just be because nobody I knew was playing the game when I was :(

I am...
The exact opposite.

I usually play the games for the Single-Player experience.
I've never really been a fan of online gaming (Except with games like LBP etc.).

COD4, GeoW (2), Halo 3, Forza 2, GTA IV, DOA 4 are only a few examples of games I've played the SP more than I did the MP (Except Halo perhaps).

I always play single player first, then go online. I enjoy playing through the story, but it is also a good way to learn the controls and unique features the game may have before going online and acting like a noob knifing a wall instead of jumping over it. I go through phases with playing online. One month I might only be playing online, but the next month have had enough and only play single player - it's just how I feel when I sit down to play. The benefit of having a decent sized collection of games is I have something to suit how I feel at the time.

I only have that problem on games in which the single-player is an afterthought anyway. For instance, I couldn't see myself spending any length of time doing the single player in a game like unreal tournament or battlefield.

I always try and complete the single player first. It's a good way at getting to grips with the controls and getting used to new features.

I think this is mainly due to the fact that I've only got one month of Live in a free trial, so I plan to use it before I waste it by not playing online. The single-player is good, but sometimes it's annoying that the enemy always knows where you are and has dead on accuracy :P Not being able to die is a bonus but it makes me too reckless when playing which is why I probably find it not as fun as Live.

Exactly same as me, i use the single player campaign to get good enough to go online.

Some games have a terrible story but they are great on xbox live.
