The noise seems to be comming from the fans in the back, I could only descrive the noise as though the fans were hitting something as they spin, standing the console verticly seems to leviate the problem most of the time, my xbox is only weeks old, any one else experience this?? if so any tips on what I can do to fix, I dont want to call cutomer support either....
I would have said that disk in there too but it sounds like it may be the fans. I forget, did you say it sounded like it was coming from the back or by the HDD? I would just check the 360 website and see what they have for trouble shooting. If nothing helps but it still works, I would just ride it out until you have no choice but to exchange it.
