I'm getting my Xbox 360 tomorrow

And also getting Oblivion, but before I got a question, How much does the warranty last? And any tips so it doesn't get RROD?

1 year everything warranty. 3 year rrod warranty.

You probably won't run into RROD... maybe after 6-10 months or so (but maybe not), so don't worry about it.
RROD is just overheating too much, so do whatever you can to reduce the amount of times it gets hots. (take short breaks every hour, place it in a well ventilated area, etc.)

Congrats on getting a 360! It's a great console. :)

To help avoid the RROD, keep the 360 well ventilated and make sure you lie it down. Vertical = BAD!
