I know that nobody here is able confirm this one way or the other, so let's turn it into a discussion. I think its bad enough that Capcom (or whoever's in charge of releasing the demo) are playing favorites between consoles by giving it to us early, but why does Microsoft (or whoever's in charge of microtransactions) have to punish half the owners of their own console?
I mean, I understand that being a silver member means I can't play online; its a decision I've made to save a bit of money and because I'm not that big on multiplayer anyway. But that should be where it ends, especially when the downloads are free. No, Microsoft, I'm not going to sign up for one month of live just so I can get this one demo a week early as part of a minor scam that effectively defeats the purpose of it being free.
Anyone else feel this way? Obviously this strategy does work if Microsoft is still doing it, so their must be people out there with opposing views on this subject.
