When I play games on my 360, I can occasionally hear a high pitched noise coming from the box as if the disc is lightly touching the laser-reader or so for a brief moment. After a while my games begin to start suffering from disc-read errors and slowdowns. When I take the disc out there are no noticeable scratches until I put it under very direct artificial light, usually at an angle. When I do this I can see a ton of tiny tiny little radial scratches all over the disc, represented in this picture as the red lines. However, unlike in this picture literally every inch of the disc is covered in these tiny scratches.
I've tried calling microsoft about it but they said they can't do anything to help me.
Does anyone have any idea what may be causing this and how I could fix it?
Thanks in advance
