I'm kinda in a dilemma... (DMC4 related)

Okay, so im looking for a new game to pop into my 360, and as far as ive heard, dmc4 should be a pretty good choice... i have a couple of problems though...

Ive actually never played any DMC game before, so i dont know if ill pick up the on-going story. One other thing is, that ive just bought God of War 2 (which i am enjoying oh so very much) and i fear, that i will end up playing/enjoying one over another (since the gameplay is compareable).

Anyone have any advice? Would really be appreciated... oh, and I need to know if i should pick it up today, cause then ill get a free devil may cry 4 t-shirt :D

Don't buy the game just because you have to/because of the hype.

Save the money for a game you really want.

you can buy dmc 4 if u want to, but you won't really appreciate it unless you played the previous dmc games. Stick to God Of War for now (my fave game mind u ^_^). Still, DMC 4 is an awesome game, but i advice you not to buy it until you check out the other devil may cry games first aiyt?glazer04

i just bought this game yesterday and its pretty sweet so far. Visuals are amazing and the gameplay is smooth and fun to play. If you want to catch up on the story you can actually watch the whole game 1-3 on there. (each game is broken up into parts).

i love both dmc and gow but i reckon dmc is heaps better i just got dmc4 and i love it!

Go buy the game but dont play it until you beat God of War 2, because GoW is a great game, I have DMC4 but am not playing it until I beat Uncharted.Apocalypse324

Uncharted is soooooooo good!!!!! You need to hurry up and beat it so you can start DMC4 cause that game is amazing!

To the topic poster, get it. You might be a little lost, but i think there's back story in the book so you know what's going on if you read it. I'm not sure cause i got it for PS3, and the back story happened during the mandatory install. But i'm sure on the disc of book of the 360 version it explains the story. The games a blast though seriously.

I think you should get it but don't let anything distract you too much from God of War 2. GOW2 is one truly amazing masterpiece of a game.
