Dont take me wrong, Im super hyped for GTA4 as it is the next installement of one of my favorite series of all time. But Saints Row was my first 360 game and I played it so much I 100 % the single player campaign and I loved the story so much.
Saint's Row 2 is shaping up to be THQ's GTAIV killer. It's got a lot of things that Grand Theft Auto never had, and it's story is good... but, I still predict that GTAIV will sell much, much more.

GTA 4 will deffinately sell better... I am equally hyped for both games... but I know for a fact that GTA4 will sell better... everyone who bought Saints Row 1 will buy Saints Row 2... and they will also buy GTA4... and everyone who didn't buy Saints Row because of its similarities to GTA4 will be buying GTA4... so GTA4 is selling to everyone with Saints Row, as well as everyone who hates it... Saints Row is just selling to fans of the series...
I am also more excited for Saints row 2 than gta4. I love gta4 and will probably play it for 2 months, but Saints row had the best multiplayer I have ever played besides R6V. I'm glad there is a lot of time in between them so I can play them both a lot lol.luigismansion101
it may be a small thing but i want to customize my charecter i dont want to be told that he has to be russian what if i want him to look a certain way well gta4 took that from me and that sucks

I don't know why people label Saint's Row as Virtual Thugs. You were able to create any type of character you wanted (except females) and the role you played wasn't thuggy. it was a silent protagonist that could have been played by anyone, even the opening scene was a case of being at the wrong place at the wrong time.
I've created cowboy looking characters, I've created black business looking men and I created a fat, white trash looking biker... it's all up to you
if i have the option to pimp hoes right after i robbed the liquor store for money because i spent it all on plastic surgery. then purchase a 40oz and "splff" from the store i just robbed the next day. i wouldnt consider that thugging.
I love both franchises and i believe GTA4 will overall be better but SR2 will probably have plenty of great features GTA4 doesn't have. I can't wait for either and hopefully both series keeps getting made so competition will inspire both series to be the best they can be,
i loved saints row, saints row was a great game, my only regret was trading it in when i was like 90% done with the game...i just couldnt finish it, although hyping it over gta will question your weirdness level

I bought Saints Row and i wont buy SR2, why? it's a GTA4 ripoff.
I laugh when people compared SR to GTA:SA. why the only thing SR did remotely better was the graphics.
Although I find your opinion slightly unusual, I'm not going to call you weird. No one deserves to be called weird for liking different games. I, for one, am more hyped for GTA IV. I might rent Saint's to try it out though, the first one was a very solid game.
