I'm one unlucky s.o.b.

Well my 360 has bummed out on me, it won't even start without crashing at the into cinematic. And this is why I am unlucky... :evil:

1) DMC4 Demo on XLM (Xbox Live Marketplace) day after console dies.

2) Undertow becomes free days after console dies.

3) Almost got 20000 GS

4) DMC4 Pre-ordered for Feb 8th and I doubt console will return by then.

You are taking this very well considering what you have listed does deem you quite unlucky. Most of the people on these forums would post something like "MAH XBOX IZ DED. M$ SHUD BURN!!! IMMA GETZ MAH PS3!"

yeah i can relate. ive had my xbox since feb 06. and it died this tues. i thought i was a lucky one. so i agree with all the great stuff that came out. that ill have to wait. shoot. i have army of two reserved. i hope i get my box back before i get the game. :(. also ill have to miss out on all my rock band dlc. i only got to play the oasis songs twice. but yeah man. im taking it good. time to change my games on gamefly to psp, ps2 and ds games lol.

Hey hes not stupid. I went to gamestop and sold my burnt out xbox (they thought it was a perfectly functioning xbox) and got a nice wad of cash. I then went to another gamestop and got a brand new xbox which has been functioning fine for about a year now. I went to another gamestop because if i would have asked the first gamestop for a new xbox they would have caught on to me and given me less credit for the box i brought in. =)Nocturnal15

I then went to another gamestop and got a brand new xbox which has been functioning fine for about a year now. Nice. I only got $16 for my barely functional disc read error PS2, which was missing the slot for the HDD and had missing screws.

Well I have a PS3 and a PC to keep me occupied for now, so I think I'll be alright for when my xbox comes back. THEN I SHALL PLAY DMC4! :D

No the problem I have is that the xbox will not even reach the dashboard, it will crash mid-way through the opening intro. I get graphical glitches, (polygons etc.) and I don't see anywhere to repair it. As I believe the graphics chip in the 360 may be faulty.

Man, that was shady. But i guess Gamestop is partially at fault for accepting and thinking it works or would work. I'd have to feel sorry for the person who buys that Xbox 360 but I guess he can return after finding out it's burnt out? Unlike the author of this thread, you were lucky.
