I'm planing on getting a 360! Do I really need all of this!!!??!!!??

I'm alittle worried about spending this much, are some of these items not need?

EDIT - I've been told that I dont need the headset 

the wireless headset is garbage so you can nix that item. and if you're 360 can reach your router with a cable, don't worry about getting the wireless adapter. but... if you have a pc that has a wireless pci adapter you can use the wireless network adapter to communicate with your pc.

Yeah thats a pretty good set up you will have but if you want to wait until may sometime (still rumored but pretty much confirmed) MS will be releasing that new black xbox with a 120GB HDD with hdmi output. Whether or not when the release date is, is still in the air.Chaos_Man

Well the Pro comes with a Wireless controller and regular headset.  Also the Xbox 360 can be played by just pluging in your ethernet cord into it.  Other than that everything looks fine, unless you just want those items.

You dont need the wireless headset at first, i think the xbox premium comes with a headset. and you can get a free month of xbox live for signing up so you can post pone spending that 50 bucks on xbox live. so you can save 110 bucks right now by waiting a month for xbox live and use the headset that comes with the xbox itself and if you want later you can get a wireless headset. and i think the headset plugs into your wireless controller so its not connecting to the xbox itself.jeffrow925

The thing about the wired headsets is they blow more than the wireless. I've been through 5 wired and it's only been a year but I do like the sound quality more.

I like the wireless cause if I am just talking to someone and I need to move around the room or fix myself something to eat... well its nice just keeping it on my ear while I chat.

k well only other thing that I see is the online 12 month isnt needed atm since you get 1 month free, but yeah thats something you will need eventually.

You don't really need the Wireless Headset. and if you don't want a ethernet cable running to your router then you will want the Wireless Network adapter.xelloss88

xbox live gold lets you play games online

silver lets you do everything but play games online. Silver is free though.

You will save alot of money if you get all those items on ebay.Tha_lazyboi

all of that is still cheap compared to ps3 and numerous accessories
