I'm pretty tired of all the whining.

This is a thread for all the whiners. By "whiners", I mean those of you that see "no future" for the console because there are "no exlusives" and are considering "buying a PS3, because it's lineup of game rox".

It's the same damn thing every year. In the weeks leading up to E3, everyone goes berserk because Microsoft hasn't announced anything new. Listen to me, and listen carefully. Wait for E3. Sony likes to announce their games approximately 57 years in advance; Microsoft waits.

They said 2007 was the PS3's year. They were wrong.
They said 2008 was the PS3's year. They were mistaken.

Now, they're saying 2009 is the year of the PS3. I would dare say that history will repeat itself.

Regardless of who has the "best" line-up of games during E3 2009, it's ultimately the gamer who wins in the end.

The gamers benefit fromany of thehigh quality titles, which the competingcompanies/developers put out, no matter what console they happen to be on.

Well im glad I own all consoles. I'm not some lame fanboy. I enjoy all my consoles equally. Why can't everybody else? There all just video games in the end.

im sick of people posting out side system wars with stuff like this when they know its against policy

this belongs in system wars, mentioning ps3 in this here forum much less the wii forum is against the rules go read em

You might be the "Ambassador of Consoles" or the "Confucius of the Code" but I don't have hundreds of dollars to spend on Wii and PS3. I wouldn't anyway. I have always enjoyed my Nintendos, I owned the OG, SNES, 64 and the Cube, I am DONE with Nintendo; I have an HDTV and I want my games to look how they should in 2009. I also owned the PS and PS2 and LOVED playing many of their infinite titles, but I won't pay $400 to play a few exclusives. The cross-platform games always look better on the 360 anyways and 360's Achievements system obliterates PSN's "Trophy" system *cough*ripoff*cough*.

So yes, I am a "Lame fanboy" but I am Xbox loyal through and through because it's simply the best console. If the PS Quatro or the Nintendo Ewe ends up being better than the Xbox 1080, then I will switch but I would bet my future children that it won't be the case.

Also the rates at which the hardware of each console fails does not seem to favor the 360, that fact is mostly ignored though.KorruptRaiden

The hardware problems on the 360 have been all but eliminated. And, even if by some spot of bad luck, you get the RRoD, you're covered. For free.

Why would people ignore the 360's hardware problems? No one ignores it. People know that it's there. Thing is, for all it's problems, the console is worth all the hassle.

Someone finally explained it to the halo fanatics :P, still don't actually care that much about exclusives... have been rather letting me down the last couple of years with an exception of ace combat 6 and gears, but besides that, i find multiplat games to be overall better (fallout 3 anyone?)

Who cares people get what they can afford. Those people probably whining can probably get more games than regular gamers. Trust me I've had a bunch of games & sometimes found myself on the edge with a system bec. I have most of the games.
