Did you ever buy a game and regret it afterwards?
For the xbox, I have always made the right choice; but for the 360, I seem to be buying only crap.
BioShock, Assassin's Creed, PGR, ... etc ..
Which game do you wish you had never bought?

Bioshock crap ?

if you think those games are crap, then what do you consider to be a quality game...... imo i think those are some of the great games the 360 has.etbny22
I agree!
You seem very hard to please!

I do not consider myself to be hard to please... for me a good game is one that manages to 'entertain' me. Even a game with crappy visuals that has that 'entertainment'-value and knows how to keep me hooked, is good for me.
On the 360, Halo3, Gears of War, Call of Duty 4, Half life 2, are some of the good titles... but i have to admit that I got bored with most other games after 2 hours of playing.
I'm looking forward to GTA, Dragon Ball Z and Ninja Gaiden.
bioshock, prg? crap? there a couple of the best sellers on xbox360, i guess you would call the darkness quality? how about perfect dark zero?linkinwormActually, that's not at all my thing ... Mass Effect is what I call a game that's worth buying and playing ... even several times.

I don't think that's the reason why I like those games. Honestly, I'm not even looking for a reason; just keep me entertained.
I can name a ton of games on the xbox that had nothing to do with shooting; Even my alltime favorite game - Beyond good and evil - looks like crap to most people, but I have enjoyed it endlessly.

Have you even played Half Life 2? There's no need to bash his taste, he even gave you guys a reason for his opinion, and I am with him to be honest. I didn't like Bioshock, I didn't even beat it before I sold it because I felt no need to. Then 'crappy' games like Kane and Lynch, NHL 08, Army of Two and Dead Rising I love and am very happy I bought
Games I regret buying are Bioshock, PGR3, and Condemned

The Darkness actually WAS a quality game. So I don't get your point.
for you people that are saying bioshock is crap, are you only playing for the first 10 mins on a 13" inche sdtv?????????? i mean really bioshock is one of the best 360 games out and will go down as one of the best games ever.gamespot4life
There's a difference in saying it's crap and saying you regret buying it. Also FYI no, I play on my projector so my screen is well over 50" and I have 5.1 going as well
Assassin's Creed I can understand but Bioshock was one of the most entertaining shooters I played in 2007. I'd go as far as saying I enjoyed it more than Halo3, Half Life 2 and CoD4. Bioshock's story kept you guessing right until the end and it's atmosphere had me glued to my screen. It's gameplay got to be crazy fun with the plasmids.
There's a free content download now on XBL for Bioshock for those that might want to try it again.
not for the 360. I subscribe to game fly to avoid just that. but i do agree with you that assasin's creed wasn't NEARLY as good as it was hyped as.
as for any game i regret buying? return to wolfenstein for the first xbox was pretty bad

i enjoyed bio shock, but it's just not my cup of tea as far as buying goes.
dead rising ain't crap mate.lightdarksamus
I'm with ya on that one, but are many people who say it are...it seems mainly cause they hate the save system/don't have a HDTV
[QUOTE="KingTuttle"]Mass Effect....ONLY because I just don't have the time to devote to it to really appreciate it. I am having that issue with games more and more. I will probably get to it next year at this rate...GSU28
I played it three times in a row. :P I regret nothing.
i'm completed almost 10 playthroughs, and it never stops being fun, but that's just my opinion
I love how some of you people get your panties all up in a bunch over the OP's statement... if he regrets buying those games then that's his opinion.
Personally, if a game I buy is only going to have a single player campaign and no multiplayer, I expect the game to last a LONG time and to be difficult (like cod4 on veteran mode). From what I've heard about Bioshock from my friends and people on this site, it seems like Bioshock is cake on whatever difficulty you put it in. I am glad I haven't dropped $60 on a game that won't have any replayability once I'm done beating.
Well for me i haven't regreted buying anything yet. I bought Bioshock replayed it three times and i'm keeping it. I think it'll be a game i'll go back to many times. I never regret buying games because i do research into them and buy games that i love. I got Bioshock,The darkness, and splinter cell doubt agent for 85 and i thought that was a great deal(alittle after christmas).I guess everyone has their own tastes because for me The darkness had really great gameplay and a story with characters that i actually cared about.
Only game i semi-regret is splinter cell double agent because i don't like stealth games that much but it was free when i got Bioshock and the darkness so i can't really regret getting it.

you have horrible taste
Bioshock was rubbish...no doubt, PGR3 or 4 are brilliant however, Assasins creed was so-so
I have recently rented NFS pro street, Bully, Army of Two and Burnout paradise....only burnout paradise was remotely good, the rest were just too much of a chore to play

With sun glasses like that, you can't say Bioshock is rubbish m8 :P
