eyy gang...does anyone know definitively if i sell my current/original xbox360...will i be able to redownload all 40 live arcade games i've bought/own onto my new Elite? i know about the hd-xfer cable, but i NEED to sell my current 360 before i'd be able to buy an Elite. please, if anyone knows for CERTAIn i can, i'd greatly appreciate an answer!

if youcan transfer them onto a memory card or backup hard drive if your selling to a friend expalin situation and they proally help you out

well i'm going to ebay it...(called ripoffstop and i thought he was joking when he said $70 credit with all wires/controllers)...i said #$&! that dude...the wireless controller ALONE will sell on ebay for nearly $50!! so anyways, i'm gonna wipe the hd so whoever buys it doesn't get my account/games. what i'm concerned about is when i log into my (soon to be) Elite w/HDMI...will it recognize my live account has "rights" to the games i bought, and let me redownload them...i mean were talkin like $400 worth of downloadable content...i sure as hell ain't throwin' that away.

I believe that what you must do, is on your new Xbox, you will have to go into the "Previously Downloaded" section of the Xbox Guide, and then redownload all of your items. This is what I have done in previous experiences, I do not know if it would be different now/for you.
