Hey,

So recently I've come across some pretty cool indie games, like Zombie Estate, Wizards Keep, and Tempura of the Dead in the Xbox Live Indie Arcade library. There are sooooo many games to go through its a little crazy, but I like it. I like digging through the mass's to find the gems. I'm wondering who else enjoys these titles in particular? How about some you have found and enjoyed on your own? I like sharing the good ones I find and as they are only around 80pts a game on average, and when your bored with some of the bigger titles there's still plenty of good times to be had for very cheap.

Another thing I like about the indie games is that I dont have to sit down and have 30-60 minutes to devote to it. I can pop em on for about 5-15 minutes get in a little gaming, and go on with the rest of the day. As of late I haven't really had much time to dive into any of the many games I'm now playing in great detail since I only get a short amount of time to devote to console gaming these days. Its nice to have some light hearted quests and simple arcade games to fall back on.

P.S Breath of Death 7 is pretty sweet as well.

I enjoyed Aphelion Episodes 1 & 2 which was a neat little duo of sci-fi RPG's that didn't necessarily have a lot of narrative, but had a cool old school vibe with neat combat and character growth.

I'm always down for a good twin stick shooter- but what's this Zombie Estate got that I Made a Game hasn't got?

Check out Breath of Death VII or something. Its a humourous rpg that isn't all that bad.

Heh,.... I don't know actually, havn't played "I made a game with zombies in it" yet. It seemed a lot like the others tho, and zombie estate caught my eye mainly because of the art style.

I haven't bought any Indie games yet, but I keep meaning to look more in to them. I want a Wrestling one as it's only 80 points, but at the minute I can't recall the name. I also wouldn't mind some of the music ones, but some of the music ones seem pointless, personally. For example, it helps to tune up a guitar. I wanted a game not something that I could easily find on the Internet or something for free :P.

Cold War Commander for me. Nice, simple platformer. With a cool setting Ronald Reagan, collecting jelly beans, then beating the level, while avoiding russian soldiers bombs, etc. Cool song playing in loop :D Controls are also great.

I just got Gerbil Physics 2, which is a physics based puzzle game, similar to Angry Birds. I know it probably isn't the type of game you were looking for, but how can you say no to screen shots like this?

I think it is a lot of fun, anyway. There are a lot of really good indie games that are a steal at only 80 Microsoft Points. I try to buy a new one that looks promising every week.

The only indie game i've got (and I would like to get more) is Shoot 1 Up. Its a shmup with a "twist". Instead of gaining additional 1 lives added to your total lives you instead gain that life as a ship on your screen, instantly. It is a blast flying around 20 ships and shooting everything. I'm not a huge shmup fan, but I liked the twist and it is a pretty good game.

Haha, Gerbil Physics looks both hilarious and fun. Shoot 1 Up looked pretty interesting too, I'll be checking both of those out for sure. Hmmm haven't seen a wrestling one on there but if I come across it i'll let ya know. Glad to see theres at least some interest on the boards for these games.

Epic Dungeon, and Dungeon Adventure are both roguelike lite type games... Pretty cool to have them as an option if you want an old school dungeon crawl. Miner Dig Deep is also pretty chill and relaxing if youre in the mood to dig for gems, trade for money, buy new items, to dig for better gems. Kept me very busy for a while!

Only one I've got so far is Fortress Craft Chapter 1 - Creation. I like it a lot, it's Minecraft on Xbox w/ better graphics.

I have always loved wasting a couple of hours away with Sketchy Tower Defense. I've spent more time on that game than even a handful of my disc games.
