Hey guys I'm looking to get a new mic for my 360 but I'm having troubel finding one that I want. I don't want an over the head style mic. I much prefer in-ear mics like the Plantronics gamecom X30. The problem is that I've gone through about 3 of them now but I can't find any companies that make them in that style that are higher end like turtle beach. I know Microsoft makes one similar but it is wireless bluetooth and has gotten mixed reviews. Any suggestions helpful

i know u don't like overhead mic's but maybe it's time try something else since these keep breaking on you. one of the best headsets i can recommend is turtle beach xp500, full wireless chat and audio, able to hook it up to pc and change how the volume acts. on mines i went in and decreased game to 75% and chat to 100% to hear people all the time. I had mines about more then a year or so and they are still working perfect.

Turtle Beach is not "high end" not by any means, they're a company built on marketing and taking advantage of gamers that don't know any better. In other-words, they're trash.

You should buy a pair of quality headphones from a respectable audio company (HiFiMAN, Sennheiser, Shure, etc), then purchase a clip-on microphone and attach it to the wire on your headphones.
