infinity ward should do this...

I'm pretty sure im not the only one who has thought of this, but i think infinity ward should release a map pack that includes all of the cod 4 maps, i know that a lot of people would be somewhat angry if this happened, but it would boost the sales of mw2 and this map pack would actually be worth $15...what are your opinions on this, would you even want to see a new map pack?

Considering IW is basically empty right now, I'd doubt they'd do that. Even if they did, Activision would charge a crap load for it.

from what I have heard, Treyarch may take over for Mw2 and create map packs if they do plan on future map packs. Iw is finished pretty much.

i have thought of this, but u may as well just play on cod4 rather than buying the maps again for a worse game. Cod 4 is far better than MW2, i will go back to it as soon as i get live again (ran out of live the day before christmas eve, it sucks), it is the best modern fps (and one of the best games online) after all.(everyone's apparantly going back on cod4 now (well a lot of people anyway))

I'd rather they put all of the MW2 maps up for download for COD4. Not gonna happen, but it would be awesome.

I'm sure I read somewhere that IW are still contracted to produce DLC for MW2 until Activision get them on a new game. So I think that we can expect more of the same in the way of Map Packs, ie: Several new maps, with a couple of CoD4 maps in the same pack.

In any case, I've gone off CoD now, I'm more of a single-player gamer anyway.
