Info on the forza 3 Benchmark ring ( part of the 1st day free download)

track is huge! with an 8 lane drag and open space.

This is a free track that you can download when you buy the game. It's not on the disk. It's a benchmark ring set in an abandon airfield.

There are many layouts for this track. Some being huge ovals to test out how fast a car can go.

One layout is a 8 lane drag.

There is also an open area where you can just drive around like a huge parking lot with obstacles to drift around

Look at the size of that oval... it's freaking huge.

In very rare occasions when you buya used game... it may still have a code to it or extra DLC... that usually is someone who didnt have xbox live. Ive had that happen to me in Gears 2 used.

is it just an empty airfield? or can you customize it? be an awesome if you can make the top gear track into that

Wow a big giant crazily unrealistic ring track for free. Cant say I care much if I miss out on that!!

Why dont they make Spa-Francorchamps or Bathurstbe the code only track?? Now that would get people to buy the new retail copy!!

And P.S. I'm sure they will make this track available for download for a price at least. What point would there be in having a track out their that only 3% of the players had?? Who would want it if that was the case? That would make it a ghost town track online. And a big wide oval would ONLY be fun online. can you imagine how boring it would be driving that thing over and over in single player??

Anyone remember in Gran Turismo during the license testing. There were a few tests where you had to go in a circle in the rain. I used to love that test! I'd go backwards just to go pratice drifting around. I wish they had tracks like that
