Hello, I have a few questions about installing games onto the 360 hardrive. Any help would be appreciated.

1) If you delete downloaded games (stuff you purchased from Xbox live marketplace ex. Lost and Damned, Psychonauts etc....) from your xbox 360 hardrive to make room for game installs, where do you go to get back the stuff you deleted (stuff you already owned)?

2) If you delete downloaded games will it delete it's saved data also?

3) Does installing the game help with the insanely loud 360 fan (i have a core system maybe the loud fan is only on that system)?

4) Does installing the game help load times?

5) Do you need the disc in the xbox 360 to play the game?

6) How many gigs is a typical game install?

1. Yes. 2. No. Not unless you go to Memory and choose to delete game save files. 3.Yes. Less running time. 4. Yes. 5. Yes. 6. around 4-7

you basically go back and just download it from where you did originally except this time it will have a checkmark meaning you already bought it

Less loading times and a more quiet 360 is great.

I would say that MOST game will benefit from faster loading however, I saw an article from bungie saying that installing Halo 3 might actually slow its load times due to caching or some sort

Not sure if this is actually a yes, but it certain removes the loud jet engine like hum of the DVD spinning for hours and hours!
