Installing Games to Hardrive?

ok heres the situation. i brought a copy of L4D over a friends house, his 360 RROD and my L4D has a halo around the disc and it barely plays now. is there a way that i can install someone elses L4D on my xbox and use my copy as the verification Disc inside the tray?

I don't see why not. I don't the answer for certain, but there's no harm in trying I would imagine.

You're using the disc either way...

yes as long as you have aL4D disc that can be read on the xbox u can play all u want!!:twisted:
