Instant On Issues

Anyone noticed any issues with the "Instant On" feature of the xbox one since the New XBox Experience update launched? Now when I wake my xbox up it frequently wont launch any apps, they just crash back to the dashboard. I have to hard reset to get everything to work again. Even just the "settings" app wont work.

This wouldn't be a huge issue if I only used the xbox for games but I mostly use it to watch streaming apps and the xbox takes forever to load up from a shut down. Also sucks that it doesn't auto update either when its completely off.

I have the white sunset overdrive xbox if that makes a difference. Any input appreciated.

I have had it happen too. I would assume they are related, but anytime I have a corrupted save from Fallout 4, there is an issue waking up my XBone. I have noticed as well, that I have had more issues waking up the system using the controller. There have been a hand full of times where I want the system to wake up and it just doesn't respond. Sometimes, I need to unplug the entire system to get it working again.

It really stinks. It even happens if I take the time to close all the programs that are open before I put the xbox into rest mode. I've gone back to just having the xbox power all the way down but it takes a pretty long time to turn on which sucks.

I would reset the Xbox to factory and start with a clean slate, did that with my old one and it works fine now.

Thats going to delete all my game saves/downloads or just the settings?
