I just got a intercooler ts for my xbox 360. It works really well. Coming from a PC modder, the fans are fairly well constructed and pust a lot of air. the one issue i have with it is that it causes a lot of vibration. non only the fan, but the xbox chassis as well. i picked up the xbox while it's off and the fan is still on (temp sensor), and i could feel the xbox vibrating..... *scared and is it supposed to be this loud? i have to turn up the volume to drown it out. wow! i'm just trying to see if i have a defective cooler. if so, with the vibration and the volume, walmart will replace it. i'm wonder if the intercooler ts's vibration could cause any internal component issues... i mean, c'mon, xbox 360's are not the best constructed...

I don't think you are going to get to many responses dude because there aren't alot of people who own one. I personally think that the intercooler is a big waste of money....just keep your 360 well ventilated and you will be ok,that's what I've done(I'm still on my 1st and it's almost 3yrs old)....And I'm almost sure that if it's shaking like that it "WILL" cause some internal damage to your 360.

I have one and it vibrates the console a little but i have been using for awhile and works real well. Had the 360 on for 24 hours once and the console was fine and cool.

I'd only maybe use one of these coolers if i bought an old launch 360 and the cooler came with it.The newer HDMI versions really dont need a cooler and will void any remaining warranty you may hope to have with M.S.

As for the vibrations, well that's very bad-it's not gonna do your console any favours and certianly might well end up with a scratched disc or two.Take the cooler back and ask for a full refund and then do yourself a Big favour and spend the money on something worth buying.

Any cooler for the 360 is a waste of money . . . their cheap, cause your system to overheat, and their just another way for companies to get extra money.

Well mostly the cooler vibrates but you can sorta feel it on the 360 console shell. Nothing to worry about though in my opinion this is the first actually good cooler b/c 1. does not take power from 360 and 2. it snaps on no modifying required so it does not void warranty.

I agree, those Intercoolers do more bad then good I hear not to mention it voids your warranty, so just get the full refund, your 360 should be just fine without it as long as you keep it well ventilated.

yea i ended up returning mine and getting another one. this one feels like how much 3 fans should vibrate. the previous one i had was probably faulty. i'm also ignoring all the posts about how the intercooler voids your warranty, causes your xbox to rrod, and how it cuts off your left nut. the intercooler ts is not powered by the xbox's psu. so there's no voiding of any warranties or anything like that. i love how the idiot at gamestop told me not to get it cuz it'll void the warranty. i asked him why, he couldn't figure it out, so he told me that the fans will self combust and leave scorch marks on my xbox, thereby voiding my warranty. oh how i love dumb gamestop employees

screw cooling fans dat just blocks the fans the xbox has in them.. i just took the top of the xbox offand put a cool fan blowing on top of my xbox on all the parts.. hasent broke since i got it a year ago. but if your not into all that complicated crap. i would just take a mini fan and blow cool air into the right side of the xbox with all the holes. and also dont have it on the carpet. also goes with powerbrick too. best to have both suspended with a book on each corner or something for best ventilation

I just bought the Ts Intercooler it actually works well ,but it isnt good to leave it on for long periods of time during game play best thing to do if u have the TS Intercooler is to leave it unplgged and after like an hour of game play plug it in for about 15-20 min. and nothing should go wrong with your Xbox . The TS Intercooler does not cause any immediate damage to your Xbox but can cause long-term damage but this is only if you leave it on during all hours of your gameplay but if you just use the TS Intercooler the way I do it will not cause any damage immediate or long-term.

wait, how exactly does it cause long term damage? it's not drawing power from your xbox.....
