If you can afford a $400 360 then you can at least afford a $400 HDTV! Hell I'll sell you mine for $300.

- No nicks, scratches, dead pixels, only had it for 6 months and treated it like my baby!

it still looks awesome on an sdtv. i have an hd at my house, and my parents don't. when i took it home over christmas break, and when playing gears of war my family would say things like, "wow, that looks pretty cool." or "those graphics are great, it's almost like a movie." but when my roommates or friends see it on an hdtv they say things like, "holy damn, that looks incredible." or "wow, i think i'm going to need to do whatever it takes to get one of those."
So to summarize: it's still going to look better than any system you've seen on an sdtv, but it will blow everyone that sees it away on a good hdtv.

That's the T.V. I own, which I paid $430 for last summer. $300>>>>>>>>>>>$340 don't you think so Captain Obvious?
I played my 360 on a:
15 inch SDTV
22 inch SDTV
17 inch monitor
32 inch HDTV
That's the order from worst to best. So If you have a computer monitor, even a small 17 inch one, it's still better than an SDTV. I suggest you go that route. The 360 works great on a computer monitor. You could even do 1080p.

If you are going to use a SDTV make sure to use the component cables instead of the composite. You'll notice a difference just between those two types of connections. It will hold you over till you get a HDTV...DCrow82You can't use component cables on an SDTV...only composite...

ya i used a 13" sdtv for a few months until i upgraded to a 19" widescreen moniter, and graphically it looks great, but the only disadvantage is that the text is really, really, small and ahrd 2 read, but most games dont require u 2 read alot.... except for dead rising....that was annoying.....timdabratIt's much easier to read text in high def, even if the screen is 10 inches. Get the VGA cables, try it on both your SDTV and your monitor. If you prefer the SDTV it means that you're an idiot, but still, you can just return the cables.
